The first panel is based on the cover of Jhereg: The Graphic Novel, which the owner of these bookshelves recently gave me as a present. Both of us are great fans of Steven Brust, so it seemed appropriate to have the comic start with his works and kind of drift off into discussion of organizing books by color.
