I hadn't had Monocacy Silver before. It's a nice soft-ripened goat cheese, kind of tangy with a good mix of textures. The dairy farm that makes it also has a similar cheese called Monocacy Ash with a center ash line, which I might try next time. Maybe it'll turn out to be a decent local equivalent of Humboldt Fog.
